THE BIRTH OF THE FIRE HEART
The Firebox fireplace core originated in 1986, when architect and fireplace technology researcher Heikki Hyytiäinen developed the Firebox fireplace core.
The goal was to create a combustion chamber that burns cleanly, efficiently and with as few emissions as possible. An entire fireplace technology was built around the Firebox, on the basis of which we have been manufacturing fireplaces and heaters for almost four decades.
