Firebox is the result of years of research and development.
It was born from the need to create a fireplace core with the lowest possible emissions and efficiency for storage fireplaces.
The design of the firebox ek0 has utilized international research data, collaboration with Tampere University of Technology and the University of Stuttgart, as well as the Finnish fireplace industry.
The result was an innovation that optimizes combustion and minimizes emissions – for the benefit of the environment and the user.
Firebox ek0 – operating principle
The Firebox directs the combustion air in a precise and controlled manner, which makes combustion cleaner and more efficient. The air is divided into two stages:
Primary air releases gases from the wood for combustion
Secondary air mixes with the gases and ensures their complete combustion

Firebox ek0 – tested to WORK
Firebox meets and exceeds the strictest emission standards in the EU, USA and Germany.
Its performance has been measured and tested by independent laboratories such as Myren Consulting Inc. (USA) and Fraunhofer Institut (Germany), as well as Ramboll in Finland.
The results show that Firebox's combustion technology significantly reduces emissions and ensures high efficiency.
The Firebox can be installed in all storage fireplaces. It meets and exceeds EU, US and German emission standards, making it one of the cleanest combustion solutions.
